Account Coordinator - Missions

About the role

In this newly created role at Blue North and reporting to the VP, Client Engagement, the Account Coordinator will provide support to our Missions team members with many different aspects of our clients’ fundraising campaigns who are located across the US. Acting as the point person, success in this role will come from effectively supporting business outcomes and providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders. Leading with influence and purpose, you will be part of a team whose work is helping our clients to address homelessness and poverty on a global scale by providing shelters, meal and job training programs.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Support Missions Account Executive, Project Manager, VP and other team members with annual strategic plans and fundraising campaigns
  •  Act as the first point of contact and establish strong relationships with clients, internal teams, vendors and other stakeholders by promptly responding to phone calls and emails, effectively solving problems and fulfilling client requests, and ensuring high quality customer service standards are met
  • Support team members with administrative tasks like invoicing, scheduling, reporting, data entry, and assist with the creation of annual plan workbooks and creative strategy briefs
  • Schedule client meetings and provide additional support when needed with creating templates for agendas and presentations and reserve and gather any necessary meeting resources

You bring to the role:
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar client-facing, administrative role; fundraising or non-profit experience is a bonus
  • Social media and digital experience would be considered an asset
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities to wear many different hats in client relations, account management, customer service and administration
  • Skilled at delivering excellent customer service while effectively managing multiple competing deadlines and priorities
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite programs
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to proactively identify and address potential problems and risks
