ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – FUNDRAISING MISSIONS CLIENTS

About the role

Reporting to the VP, Client Engagement, the Missions Account Executive is responsible for managing the execution of all aspects of the annual direct response fundraising plans for our clients who are located across the US. In this client-facing role, the Account Executive expertly navigates campaigns and provides ongoing support and guidance to our clients so that they can successfully achieve their mission and achieve critical fundraising goals.


What you’ll do in the role:

  • Manage campaigns through creative development, donor segmentation strategies, testing parameters, data management, client approvals, billing and performance reporting
  • Execute on all aspects of the annual direct response fundraising plans for clients through direct mail, online channels, broadcast and print
  • Participate and manage the internal development of clients’ annual strategic plans until completion
  • Coordinate pre-launch meetings for each impact affirming direction for creative, data, content, testing and audience
  • Launch projects on time and in accordance with the annual plan by creating and assisting in the development of annual plan workbooks, project schedules, data instructions and the Creative Strategy Brief; lead regular meetings with clients and VP to provide updates on the status of projects
  • Schedule and facilitate pre-client preparation meetings by creating agendas and presentations, reserving all necessary resources and compiling necessary documents
  • Communicate client goals to the internal strategic, creative and production teams, and assist in facilitating action plans to reach the outlined goals
  • Ensure client-facing documents are accurate and aligned to client expectations
  • Monitor results compared to projections and prior year; identify if course correction is needed
  • Send file requests to client or 3rd party data provider to execute campaigns and produce reports and analytics
  • Some travel to the US will be required for client visits

You bring to the role:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role preferably within an agency or fundraising environment
  • Social media and digital experience would be considered an asset
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite programs is required
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders and clients to achieve results
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven and detail-oriented environment
  • Highly motivated with a high level of initiative to work independently and develop creative solutions to solve problems
